Recent additions are: the draft competition calendar for 2012. I can see some conflicts in this draft so can clubs please view it to judge it's accuracy. Please report conflicts to Jim Rodgers. Also loaded is the first of the winter 'news' snippets from the Logical League. One final note is to inform you that 'Dene House' have relocated and changed their name. They are now registered as Bowmen of Rothbury Forest and will no longer be a closed club. They will shoot at Forestburngate Farm. Post code NE61 4PT. Web site map location will be modified ASAP. News Postings - October 3rd 2011

To: All Club Compound League Contacts.
I attach the Compound League Fixture List for 2011-12.
This year we have eight clubs taking part, which means that April will have to be used. However, as most clubs are outdoors in April, then those clubs who do not have indoor facilities in April will need to shoot two matches in March, though of course, you can shoot a match outdoors if you wish!
I'm still waiting to hear from one club who usually takes part in the Longbow League; until I do, I cannot prepare that League's fixtures. We are likely to have 7 or 8 longbow clubs this year. I'll get the Lb League fixtures to those who have entered, as soon as possible_ no later than midweek.
I'll also send out the list of club contacts, rules, etc for both Leagues a.s.a.p. (I've been a bit pushed this past week or so: sorry for the delay).
Best regards to you all,
Brian Trotter,
Lb & Comp Leagues' Sec.

Other matters included the notice of a Level 2 coaching course to be started in November and a Level 1 course to be started in early 2012 and held at Berwick. News Postings - September 10th 2011

The invitation from Brian Trotter for the coming winter Longbow and/or compound league(s) has been loaded onto the site and is available from the 'links and Docs' page. As an aside, I have been informed that some computers will not display the links from the google calendar correctly. This may be due to either firewall settings OR the service provider. All links are checked once loaded to the calendar but in future a copy will be loaded onto our own site 'links and docs' page thus allowing those with problems to by-pass the calendar. 'Summer News' entries moved to archive.
