Smartphone App
An archery application is being designed from scratch by a professional developer. I am collecting requests for functionality and/or content. The app will run on Apple devices, and on phones running Android (e.g. most HTC mobiles). If you have any suggestions, please email me at r.r.green@btinternet.com

   Hearing over Christmas this sad news of the passing of another county archer, I have posted this obituary word for word from those written and passed to me by Ann and Bill Lee of Cleadon Archers. "It is with deep regret that I have to inform you of the death of fellow Club Member Gloria Haswell, at her home, on Tuesday, 28th December. Gloria and her family have supported Cleadon Archers for many years, Gloria having joined in January 1992 and served on the Committee as Treasurer from 2002 to 2004.
For those wishing to pay their last respects, her funeral service is to take place on Wednesday, January 5th in St. Mary the Virgin Church, Sherburn Village, DH6 1HD, at 1.30pm, followed by interment in Sherburn Village Cemetery. There is a request for no floral tributes but donations may be handed to family members to be divided between St Cuthbert's Hospice and The Macmillan Nurses, also, Gloria would have loved everyone to wear something pink. Our condolences go to Peter and all his family at this most difficult of times.

November news archived. Entry form loaded for the spring Novice Championships to be hosted by Whitburn. Also at the same time it was noticed that the 'google' calendar was showing the competition dates on the wrong week-day but they were correct on the site. The calendar has been changed to start from a Sunday (previously Monday) to display correctly. The problem appeared to be on the google site.
