The county committee held the latest meeting at Backworth on Monday last. The following Child Protection Course was announced for those coaches or clubs who feel they may need the certification which this course provides. Please contact Kath Hall of Killingworth Archers if you wish to attend. There is no charge to county archers but it would be appreciated if you can book early as we have to print the documentation in advance. Details as follows:
To be held at Gilesgate School on November 26th 2007 starting at 7.p.m.
Results of Killingworth Archers Indoor Club Open have been made available from the Competition Calendar. Also the Winter League fixtures from Brian Trotter have been posted under the 'Winter Leagues' menu entry point.

Logical League news - Leagues are now published and can be viewed from the 'logical league' menu entry and then from the 'details' page. Most of the scores are in and it shows that next month we may have the first movement between leagues. I MAY have to introduce a new league at the top which will probably be the 'Bridgenorth' league (as I'm told that the Battle of Bridgenorth' was the last battle where longbow was still in use). I didn't realise that the league would attract so many archers but it does indicate that we have a need for a 'top' division? Leagues are sorted by 'bow type' then 'score' so the scores are not 'decreasing' as would be seen in a competition results list!

Logical League news - Entries from Green Lane and Kirknewton entered but I'm a little busy at work so I will be unable to build the league standings until late this week.
Congratulations to all those who shot this month. Scores are exceptional and I may have to develop a new league to cater for those who are forging their way upwards?
