I have a request from the Regional Secretary. To cut down in postage costs and improve communication it is requested that any club secretary using email could give the email address either directly to the region via the NCAS 'corrections' email address OR by sending the address to me at 'Replies' and I will pass these onto the regional Secretary. Please include your club name with any information. Thanks.
I have uploaded all outdoor County Records including the new 'Flight' records for ladies. This upload exceeds 100 files so please email 'Replies' if I have made any errors as checking this number is exceedingly difficult.
Entries for the 'Logical league' are coming in steadily. If you're in two minds about entering don't hesitate any longer and send in your details, Name - Sex - Bow type - and the division you think you'll fit comfortable into... and then start enjoying your archery indoors. For further details just read the pages for the league, linked from the 'home page'.
My aplogies that I missed the notice that we had two new candidate judges in Bill Lee and Mike McGowan. I have corrected my error and added the names to the 'Judges' page.
I have added a form for the 'Pip Bickerstaffe' workshop held at Riverside Archery Club and the link is HERE for a 'doc' version and HERE for a 'pdf' version. This event is to be held as two sessions on 9th and 10th october 2010. Some places remain on the Sunday session.
A new link is made available on the menu system for Eaton Manor, Eaton-Under-Heywood, Church Stretton, Shropshire. A holiday venue with facilities for archery. Used for archery training by the E.A.F. and other 'national' groups. This link is provided as a coutesy and we cannot be liable if you choose to use this facility although we have received good reports about it.
After the FITA star held over the Bank Holiday we would normally have made an award to the most improved DNAA archer. As the shoot was abandoned due to the excessive high winds this award has been delayed. The comittee agreed at the meeting last night that this should be awarded on the distance shot on the Sunday and the result will be announced in due course.
The venue for the Inter Counties Shoot held in early October has been announced as Driffield in Yorkshire.
