March news archived.

April 12th 2008. -
The remainder of the March scores have arrived and it's time to build the pages for the site and then produce certificates for all those who competed for two months or more. From the final two clubs the following are noted. From Killingworth Ken Brotherton would have moved from Poitiers to Agincourt. Connor Rathbone would have moved from Crecy to Poitiers. Ann Todd (shooting longbow) would have moved from Hastings to Evesham, and Mike Cox and Luke Fittes posted the first score for promotion. From Green Lane the story is similar with Corey Jackson moving from Crecy to Poitiers and Richard Baker and Karen Turnbull posting the first 'promotion' score. So it's a 'well done' from me once again and the 'final' lists are now in the 'logical league' section.

April 6th 2008. -
Scores have arrived for Berwick, Kirknewton and Cleadon with Green Lane and Killingworth to come. From the scores entered by Kirknewton, had the league been a month longer Martyn Nesbit and Mark Heatley would have moved up a division and Brian Nesbit, Norman Gauld, Jamie Davidson and Alex Nesbit have posted the first of two scores needed to move up a division. So well done to all.
