I'm delighted to announce that the archers who have been training for the Level 1 coaching grade from Kilham and Berwick completed the final stages of their work and all passed comfortably. I would like to thank the new coaches and those who helped with the course, travelling up and down to Kirknewton and Coldstream to oversee the beginners courses - Peter Croft, Lee Blenkinsop, as well as myself, and Fred who made the journey to run the course up there, Helen (and Hazel Elliot from Scotland too) for the External Assessments - and Bill Mackay who acted as Moderator for the course - who commented that he was very pleased and impressed with the standard.
Successful candidates were: Neil Endicott, Mark Heatley, David Hermiston, Christine Hood, Walter Huddleston, Gwyn Thomas and Tom Wilson. Paul Wells was also signed off. A photo of the group will be placed on the site shortly. |
